Womas
Woma Pythons (Aspedites ramsayi)
Womas come from the deserts of Australia and are adapted to life in the extremes of Australia.  These pythons lack the normal labial heat sensing pits that are present in other pythons, which is an adaptation for sand burrowing.  These snakes will dig a bit, so care must be taken so they don't burrow under heavy cage furniture and crush themselves.  Because they come from such a harsh environment, they are agressive feeders, and are tolerant of temperature extremes, thus making them an idel captive.  Womas have beautiful colors and banding pattern.  We have obtained our great woma collection from "Python" Pete Kuhn.  His womas were specifically bred for magnificent color and bold contrasting pattern, and they do not fade out and get muddy with age.  If you are looking for the best womas on the market, you've found them.  The Python Pete line of womas is highly sought after, and we should hopefully be able to meet some of that demand.  With a docile nature (except when they think it is feeding time), a beautiful pattern, and colors to please the eyes, womas are the ideal python.  Below are a couple examples of the womas we have in our breeding colony.  Click on the images for a larger view.  Get Addicted!
